PART 3: Prescreening of Mike Dooley’s New Thoughts Become Things

by Rhonda Ryder on April 7, 2009

This is Part 3 (and the last part) of my notes from the prescreening of Mike Dooley’s movie, “Thoughts Become Things”, which has not yet been released.

(Note: Don’t read if you want to experience the movie first without getting this play-by-play detailed account.)

Here’s PART 3 of my notes:

Pay attention to what you say. Say things that serve you.

Actions are your thoughts thrown into behavior. Pay attention to your behavior/actions.

Act as if.

Act as if you’re already at the weight you want, for instance.

Don’t behave like your dreams won’t show up. Example: Cluttering up your closets so there is no room for a new romantic partner to put his or her stuff (for instance) is acting as if your dreams aren’t going to show up. Clearing the space for another is.

Being excited about the truth is never enough. You must live it. Be out in the world living your life.

Taking action is like making another “pitch” to the universe (baseball metaphor). You must go out and make pitches. Let the Universe figure out what to do with the pitches (actions) you take. You make the pitches, the universe is able to connect the dots. The Universe needs you to go out and take the inspired actions.
