The Law of Attraction: Is Action Necessary?

by Rhonda Ryder on May 3, 2009

I don’t mind working hard. In fact, sometimes I even like it. If it’s work I enjoy, that is.

But I always thought that hard work would pay off some day. And so I kept on working hard. In the beginning it was for other people. And then it was for myself, in my own businesses.

But then something changed in my thinking. [click to continue…]

I’ve been to a MEGA Book Marketing Event and it was awesome. I attended when I was promoting my ghostwriting business.  I went to market my services and I landed a few clients. It was a great events for authors and wanna-be authors. After that I wrote my first ebook, soon to be published.

This year there’s going to be a “richest kids in America” panel, along with all the adults, and once again, it’s going to be in my neck of the woods: Orlando.

Here’s the letter from Mark  I received today: [click to continue…]

Can I Recreate My Husband?

by Rhonda Ryder on April 21, 2009

Ok, so I just celebrated 4  years of marraige with my husband. We’ve been together for 5 years total.  And sometimes, like now as I try to write this blog post, he is busy talking to the animals (I call him Dr. Doolittle) and I’m having a hard time concentrating on writing. And then there are other times, I wish I could wave my magic wand and change certain things about him.

Don’t get me wrong. He is a great guy and I love him. But I really enjoy my time alone, so it’s been sort of a challenge to not only share my space with someone, but to be with him 24/7 (we both work at home - together). [click to continue…]

Mike Dooley and Rhonda Ryder

Last night my husband and I and about 150 other people were invited to a private prescreening of Mike Dooley’s new film, Thoughts Become Things (which has not been released yet) at The Center of Spiritual Living in Orlando.

At the end of the movie we were asked to evaluate the film, so I got to give my input. I am definitely going to attend the next screening to see if they followed any of my advice. :) [click to continue…]

Annie Jennings PR - Interviewing Joe Vitale about his new product, “The Secret of Attracting Money”

My personal notes from the following teleseminar on March 19, 2009:

Why do people struggle with attracting money?
Because on some unconscious level, they’re not comfortable with money.

They may have issues with love and deserving wealth or more money. Once you take care of that, ANYONE can attract money. [click to continue…]

“Don’t Gobble the Marshmallow…Ever!”

by Rhonda Ryder on March 15, 2009

Book Review:

“Don’t Gobble the Marshmallow…Ever!”
By Joachim de Posada and Ellen Singer

Joachim de Posada - Author of "Don't Gobble the Marshmallow Ever!"

I recently attended a seminar in Tampa, Florida and had the pleasure of meeting Joachim de Posada, the author of “Don’t Gobble the Marshmallow…Ever!”, a book about the merits of delayed gratification.

I wanted to find the secret behind how this book is helping thousands of young people across the globe avoid over-spending and the ever-increasing trap of credit-card debt. [click to continue…]

Most of the teachings of the law of attraction will tell you to ask for what you want and then believe that your request has been answered.

However, this is where many people get stuck. We may say things like, “I asked and nothing happened.” “Why isn’t this working for me?” “Why doesn’t God (The Universe, Source, Buddha) love me as much as everybody else?” “I’m just not one of the ‘lucky’ ones.” [click to continue…]

How to Share The Law of Attraction With Others

by Rhonda Ryder on February 17, 2009

Me with my baby sister and grandmother in NYC

I’ve been a student of the Law of Attraction since I was 17 years old. (I must be about 5 or 6 in this photo with my grandmother who made her transition in 1992.)

Way before the movie The Secret came out, I was reading books about how our thoughts create our realities. The first book that introduced me to such a concept was Sermon on the Mount, by Emmet Fox. [click to continue…]
