I’m reading Marci Schimoff’s book, Happy for No Reason.
In the book, one of the things she talks about is how she searched far and wide for 100 truly happy people and interviewed them all.
These are the “Guiding 3″ Principles she found in all 100…They basically lived their lives believing or living their lives with the following philosophies:
1) What expands you makes you happier. (The Law of Expansion)
2) The universe is out to support you. (The Law of Universal Support)
3) What you appreciate, appreciates. (The Law of Attraction)
It’s interesting to look at this list and see where your beliefsĀ fit in regards to these 3 principles.
I could see that I was having trouble believing #2 today.
Actually, I felt like the opposite. I felt like the Universe was out to get me today.
No matter what I did, I seemed to be attracting more “family drama.”
I can now take responsibility for attracting this to me.
And, I can see how I actually attracted it by indulging in negative thoughts (feeling hurt and angry) for the past couple of weeks about a certain family member.
And I can see how I can get back into the good vibrations by choosing better feeling thoughts…and taking on the belief that the Universe is actually out to support me.
